
Each month I like to showcase a batch of new comics that you should be reading. I try and make it varied, mixing up creative ideas, genres and different storytelling to create a list that will have something that will appeal to everyone. This month there’s star-pilots, a Hawaiian murder mystery, teen detectives, an April Fools special and much more.

How to Love Comics showcases some of the best comic covers for the month of January from a whole range of artists from a variety of publishers. January sees covers from artists like Geof Darrow, Phil Noto and others.

While you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover it doesn’t mean that you can’t admire it. Each month I find what I believe are the best comic covers. In August’s batch of comic covers is a real mix bag, with many different styles, publishers and genres of comics, but all of them great.
