While Wonder Woman has been a mainstay for more than 80 years, the supporting cast of Amazons have been stuck in her shadow. However, over the past 12 months, DC has done an excellent job at creating prominent roles for characters such as Nubia, Artemis, and others. Further to that, they’ve even successfully created new characters such as Yara Flor, the new Wonder Girl.
Now that these characters have stepped out of Diana’s shadow, the time has come to bring them all together. To do this, DC Comics will be doing the first Wonder Woman themed event in 15 years – Trial of the Amazons.

Trial of the Amazons will see the three Amazonian tribes (Themyscirans, Bana-Mighdall, and the newly introduced Esquecida) come together for the first time for a traditional Amazon contest. However, things won’t be peaceful when a murder rocks Themyscira and leads to conflict. Even worse, while everyone is busy fighting each other, the Doom’s Doorway seems to be leaking mythical creatures, which will have major ramifications for everyone.
Comic book events can be confusing. But they don’t have to be. The Wonder Woman: Trial Of The Amazons reading order will help you make sense of this massive story. It’s got everything you need to make reading simple, such as the recommended reading order, background reading, release dates, and heaps more.
