They’re a bit of both new and old. There was an ongoing series that was a different continuity from the main Judge Dredd series, along with the occasional mini-series. There were also reprints of Judge Dredd stories from 2000 AD in American-style comic books (2000 AD and the Megazine are printed around the same size as the DC Black Label books).

I meant Judge Dredd: Complete Case Files vol 1-5, not Mega Collection. But since I’m here again, what are the IDW Judge Dredd books? Are they reprints?

Congrats on the re-launch and thank you so much for this guide. I’m from the U.S. and mostly only know of 2000 AD based on the connection to some of the artists and writers you listed. I didn’t really understand that it was basically a weekly comics anthology plus Judge Dredd.

I did pick up a couple of 2000 AD Humble Bundles that centered around Judge Dredd. I think both of them included the first five volumes of the JD Mega Collection, which I’ve been reading. Even though I’m a bit familiar with the character, I’d love a Judge Dredd guide if you decide to make one.

A good guide for those looking for an entry point into 2000 AD. I got in with Prog 2000, and I can tell you- once you start reading, you won’t want to stop. One thing I would add- Barney (http://www.2000ad.org/) is a good resource for information on stories, creators, etc. It has a few gaps (mostly in reprints) but is otherwise excellent.
