The Fantastic Four was revolutionary when it burst onto the scene in 1961. They were not just a super-powered team, but explorers and a family too. As a result, Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, and The Human Torch adventures captured readers imaginations with big ideas and plenty of heart.
In 2021 Marvel’s first family turns 60. To celebrate, How to Love Comics will be exploring their long history with articles throughout the year. We’ll highlight classic stories, the people who were responsible for them, bombastic art, villains, reading orders, and heaps more. Joining me will be the occasional guest writer, who will give their own take on Marvel’s first family with different perspectives and points of view.
We’re calling this celebration “Fantastic Adventure”.
For those new to Fantastic Four, we hope that it sparks a love for the characters. We also hope that you find plenty of fantastic (sorry) stories to read and a perception of the team that extends beyond the movies.
If you’re a long-time fan, we hope that you’ll see the team in ways that you hadn’t before. And if you’ve fallen out of love with them, that it reignites your enjoyment.
New articles will be available throughout the year. Take a look below to find everything that has been published so far.
