If you surveyed people as to which television shows they thought were the most unjustly cancelled after one season, many of them would say Firefly. While it didn’t make waves when it was first aired, it has become a cult favourite. While it’s unlikely we will never get a second season, the science fiction western lives on in Boom Studios‘ comic book series.
For almost two years, the comic has acted as the canonical continuation of the show. We’ve had stories that explore the Unification War and the secret history of Mal. Now, Boom Studios will be giving us the very first Firefly event in Firefly: Blue Sun Rising.
The shadowy Blue Sun Corporation has been running the ‘Verse in the background, but has now made themselves known and wants to take over everything. In order to stop them, Mal will need to bring the crew back together for one last heist.
So you don’t miss out on any of the action, take a look below at the Firefly: Blue Sun Rising Reading Order. It has all the details you need to know so you can start reading this big Firefly event.
