In 1985 readers were introduced to a very different Spider-Man villain. Known as Sin-Eater, he was a ski-mask wearing, shotgun-wielding, maniac with a perverse sense of justice. Unlike most Spider-Man villains, who are bombastic and colourful, Sin-Eater was frighteningly violent and grounded in a way that could happen in real life.
Amazing Spider-Man: Sins Rising sees this dangerous villain return to clash with Spidey once more.
So you don’t miss out on an issue the Amazing Spider-Man: Sins Rising Reading Order has been put together. It includes the recommended reading order for all the comics involved, background reading, release dates, and much more.
Enjoy!

Background Reading
What should you read before diving into Amazing Spider-Man: Sins Rising? Here are a couple of suggestions.
The Death of Jean DeWolff
Written by Peter David. Art by Rich Buckler.
This classic Spider-Man story introduced readers to Sin-Eater. If it’s anything like Spider-Man: Hunted (which heavily referenced another 1980s classic in Kraven’s Last Hunt) then The Death of Jean DeWolff will be heavily referenced.
Read Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #107-110 to get the full story.
Amazing Spider-Man (2018 series) #37
Written by Nick Spencer. Art by Ryan Ottley.
The mysterious Kindred, who has been operating in the background throughout most of Nick Spencer’s run on Amazing Spider-Man, resurrects Sin-Eater.
