Your Guide To Star Wars: Age of Rebellion

Your Guide To Star Wars: Age of Rebellion

By Comments

Marvel Comics kicked off their Age of Star Wars comics in late 2018 with Star Wars: Age of Republic. This series of one-shot stories each explored a hero or villain of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. It was a rare look into this not too often explored period of Star Wars history and some quality comics came out of it as a result.

With the Age of Republic completed, Marvel is moving into the new age of Star Wars history with Age of Rebellion, which will explore the much-loved original Star Wars trilogy. Each one-shot story will explore a different character with a self-contained story.

Who are the creators involved?

Apart from the Age of Rebellion Special, all of the comics will be written by Greg Pak. While Pak doesn’t have a history with writing Star Wars, he does have an impressive resume which includes a long run on The Incredible Hulk, Action Comics, Battlestar Galactica, and much more.

Marc Laming will be drawing the the villainous portion of the Age of Rebellion. Laming has had some experience drawing Star Wars before with a few annuals and one-shots under his belt.

On the side of the heroes is Chris Sprouse. Sprouse has impressive career in comics which has included Black Panther, various Batman titles, and a comic book adaptation of Star Wars: Splinter in the Mind’s Eye.

Who Is Your Favourite Star Wars Character From The Original Trilogy?

It doesn’t have to be one of the characters featured in Age of Rebellion. Perhaps it’s C3PO or even one of the aliens in the cantina. Let me know who it is in the comments below or via Facebook or Twitter.
