Appearing in the pages of Detective Comics #27 all the way back in 1939, Batman was introduced to the world. In the 80 years since then, he has gone onto be one of the biggest comic book heroes in the world, starring in dozens of comics series, one which will hit issue #1000 in March, television shows, toys, and blockbuster movies.
To celebrate Batman’s 80th anniversary, How to Love Comics will be publishing articles all year round that celebrate the Dark Knight and his long history in comics. There will be deep dives into classic stories, spotlights on supporting characters, a look at dastardly villains, and heaps more.
By the end of the year, I hope you have discovered a side of Batman you might not have seen before and discover fantastic comics to read. So come join me as we explore the Dark Knight from every angle together!
Every time there’s a new article I’ll add it to the below so you don’t miss a thing.
