In Secret Empire, Marvel Comic’s massive and controversial event of 2017, Hydra destroys the city of Las Vegas. Now in 2018, Doctor Strange has taken it upon himself to amend the catastrophe by raising the City Of Sin from the ground. The only problem is that he has now inadvertently released Mephisto, Marvel’s version of the devil, on the city. Whoops! Now the Doctor Strange will need the help of as many heroes that he can get his hands on in order to fix this mess.
This is the premise of Doctor Strange: Damnation, the next big Doctor Strange comic event, which also brings in Iron Fist and Scarlet Spider into the fold.
