I’ve put together a guide which gives you everything you need to know to start reading the Mass Effect comics. This includes a list of all of the available comics as well as how you can read them as who they were created by? I also answer a handful of questions you might have.
Who Publishes the Mass Effect Comics?
The Mass Effect comics are published by Dark Horse Comics, who are known for their quality comics based on original ideas as well as many other popular video game licences.
Are The Mass Effect Comics Official?
Yes, they are. Not only are they officially licenced by Bioware they are written by lead writers from the game. The majority of the comics are co-written by Mac Walters who is the lead writer on the Mass Effect video games.
Where Can I Find Mass Effect Comics?
Mass Effect comics can be found at any good comic book store, online stores, eBay, as well as digitally on Dark Horse Digital or Comixology.

Mass Effect: Evolution is a four-part miniseries which explores the origins of the Illusive Man and the Cerberus organisation.
Invasion

This four-part miniseries stars Aria T’Loak as her station comes under the threat of Cerberus organisation.
Homeworlds

Mass Effect: Homeworlds is a miniseries made up of four standalone stories which star a different cast member.

Big Collected Editions
For those who want to binge read there are two types of big collections:
Library Editions
Dark Horse Comics Library Editions are nice, big, hardcover collections which are larger in dimensions. These look rather nice on the bookshelf.

Omnibus
The omnibus collections have the same content as the Library Editions but share the same dimensions as a regular comic book. They’re also more affordable too.
