Timely Comics Are The Affordable And Easy Way To Get Into Marvel Comics

By 0 Comments

A long time ago Marvel Comics used to be known as Timely Comics. While the company hasn’t been called timely in a very long time Marvel has brought the name back for special oversized reprint comics. Reprinting 3 comics of a particular series, Timely Comics are priced at the cheap price of $3.00. At the cost of less than a regular issue, Marvel has created an affordable way of getting into their comics from the start of their popular series.

Timely Comics are perfect for anyone who’s interested in getting into Marvel Comics, but have never known where to start or didn’t want to spend too much.

If you’re interested in Timely Comics and are dying for more information then you’d be in luck. I’ve put together a simple guide to these releases, answering any questions you might have and listing all the comics involved.

Timely Comics: All-New, All-Different Avengers cover by Alex Ross.

Where Can I Find These Special Issues?

Timely Comics can be found at any good comic book store, Comixology or the Marvel Comics App.

How Much Does Each Issue Cost?

Each issue is at the low price of $3.00. That’s a bargain considering that a regular single Marvel issue costs $3.99!

What Should I Read After These?

If you’ve picked up and really enjoy these special introductory comics and wanted to read more the story then here’s where you can continue reading:

Issue #4

These Timely Comics releases collect issues #1-3 of a particular series so the natural place to keep reading is with issue #4. Your local comic book stores should have #4 and onwards stocked for most of these series. If not, they might be able to order them in for you. They will also be available digitally on Comixology or the Marvel Comics App.

The Trade Paperback Collection

The other alternative is to pick up the trade paperback collection of the series that you’re in. These usually collect 6-7 issues of a series. The first collection for most of these series should be out already and if they’re not they won’t be very far away.
