EDIT: The book club discussion is now live! Come join us in the discussion!
After more than a year away, the How to Love Comics Book Club is back and better than ever!
This month we’ll be reading the 1987 classic Spider-Man: Kraven’s Last Hunt written by J.M. DeMatteis and art by Mike Zeck. Featuring the villain Kraven the Hunter, in what is one of his finest stories, Kraven’s Last Hunt is one of the darker Spider-Man stories which goes deep into not only Spidey’s psyche but the villains too!
If you are thinking about joining me and the How to Love Comics Community in reading this classic Marvel story then here’s everything you need to know.

How Does Book Club Work?
For those who are new to the Book Club this is essentially how it works:
- I set a book to read on the last Wednesday of the month.
- Everyone then has about month to go out and read it.
- We all come back on the final Monday of the following month and discuss the title in the comments and social media. (I will make a new post for the discussion)
Pretty simple!
When Will The Discussion Take Place?
Book Club discussions happen on the final Monday of the month. June’s will take place on the 27th.
Don’t stress if you can’t make it in time as the discussion will be up on the website forever so you can join in at any time!

Spread the News
Book Clubs are always more fun when there are more people involved. So why not tell your friends and family to join in? Better yet, let your local retailer know about this month’s Book Club as I am sure they wouldn’t mind spreading the word if it meant selling more copies.
If you want to talk about the Book Club or post any photos of you reading it please use the hashtag #HTLCBookClub on your favourite social media. I’ll monitor the hashtag and share anything cool I see.
Keep an eye out for anything related to the Book Club on Facebook, Twitter or in the Weekly Newsletter. I’ll see you all on to discuss Spider-Man: Kraven’s Last Hunt on Monday, June 27th.
Happy reading!
