Earlier in the week Wacom, the graphics tablet market leader, released Pressure/Sensitivity: An Awesome Comics Anthology for free. With stories from Ben Sears, Giannis Milonogiannis, Ming Doyle, Meredith Gran and Mike Holmes this group of stories fall under the theme of pressure and sensitivity. Not surprising, this is something that fits well into the nature of graphics tablets. Furthermore, this rad anthology has a sweet cover by Ulises Farinas and Ryan Hill. With an anything goes kind of vibe to it it’s hard to say no to.
All of the stories were made using a Wacom graphics tablet, which proves that a wide range of styles can be created using the technology. Speaking of variety, Pressure/Sensitivity: An Awesome Comics Anthology features some diverse 8-page stories from science-fiction and fantasy to comedy and adventure.
Anthologies like this are great as they allow you to discover new creators. If you discover one you really enjoy, I suggest checking out their websites and seeing what other work they have available to read.
