Enter a world of magic, danger and wonder in Dark Horse Comics‘ new series Eye of Newt. Written and beautifully illustrated by Michael Hague, this four-issue miniseries relates the quest of a young apprentice wizard in which he encounters all kinds of magical creatures.
For those who are not familiar with Michael Hague’s art, fantasy illustration is what he best known for – with the artist illustrating classics such as The Wizard of Oz and The Hobbit. His art is simply beautiful and fitting of a fantasy narrative. As you will see in the preview below, the art is textured and detailed with an earthy, yet vibrant, wash of colours. This style is what makes Eye of Newt a unique comic series that stands out amongst the rest.
