To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the X-Men Marvel Comics will be releasing an X-Men-centric event called Battle of the Atom. Battle of the Atom will see X-Men from three different timelines collide in order to stop a potentially disastrous future from happening. With the scale of the story too big to fit into just one series, Battle of the Atom will crossover into four ongoing X-titles ad bookended with two one-shots. To remove some confusion I have created a Battle of the Atom reading order checklist so that you know what order to read the series in. I have also included the dates so that you will know when each issue will be out.*
X-Men Battle for the Atom as a 10 part series throughout September and October on a weekly schedule. The series participating in Battle of the Atom will be “All-New X-Men“, “X-Men”, “Uncanny X-Men” and “Wolverine & the X-Men” along with two one-shots titled “X-Men Battle of the Atom”. Below is the X-Men Battle of the Atom reading checklist with all the recommended reading order.
The way these crossover events work are that the story continues from one title to another so if you want to get the full story you should follow our Battle of the Atom reading order.
X-Men Battle of the Atom will be written by regular X-title writers Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron and Brian Wood. Art duties are responsible by Frank Cho, Stuart Immonen, Chris Bachalo, David Lopez and Giuseppe Camuncoli.
*These dates are correct at the time of the creation of the post. Due to circumstances outside our control these dates may not be correct if there is a delay.
