PREVIEW: Clive Barker’s Next Testament #1

By 0 Comments

From the mind of the “master of horror”, Clive Barker, comes Next Testament – a new series out from Boom Studios. Follow Julian Demond as he goes walkabout around the world on what he claims is a mission from God. While on this journey he meets a man named Wick, who claims to be God himself. The pair set out around the world but will their intentions be good or evil?

Along for the 12 issue ride with Clive Barker is co-writer Mark Miller (not to be mistaken with Mark Millar of Kick-Ass fame) and artist Haemi Jang. Talk to your local retailer to see if you can score a very limited variant signed and painted by Clive Barker himself.

If you a fan of previous body of work, whether it be his novels like the Cabal and Sacrament or his films like Hellraiser, then you should check out this series.

Clive Barker’s Next Testament #1 (of #12) is out on the 29th of May in all good comic book stores and digitally through Comixology.

Check out the regular cover by Goni Montes, the variant cover by Ben Oliver as well as a preview below.
