JUMPING ON POINT: Half Past Danger #1

DAMES. DINOSAURS. DANGER. These three words are a good indication of what Half Past Danger is about. An extended description of this brand new comic book would be that during World War 2, Staff Sergeant Tommy ‘Irish’ Flynn and his men are in pursuit of Nazis on a remote island. Although, this South Pacific island has something that no one could have ever expected – dinosaurs.

Stephen Mooney (Angel: After the Fall) is on all the creative duties in this new creator owned series and by looking at the preview below you can see that the art is fantastic. I really like how the lush the jungle looks and I am enjoying the vibrant colour pallete with the variety of greens.

Half Past Danger is a great jumping on point if you are a fan of World War 2 era stories or Jurassic Park, as a good title to read if you are new to the medium or looking something different to read.

Half Past Danger is a 6 issue mini series with the first issue released this week, May 22nd, in all good comic book stores and digitally through Comixology.
