Justice League Vs. Suicide Squad Reading Order Checklist

Justice League Vs. Suicide Squad, the first major event of the DC Comics Rebirth era, is finally here. With this 6 part miniseries spanning over December 2016 to January 2017, we will see, just as the title suggests, the Justice League take on Suicide Squad. Suicide Squad have been working in secret under the protection of the government for sometime, doing their dirty work, but now that the Justice League has discovered their existence things have come heated. What happens next? You’ll have to read to find out.

Comic book crossover events can be intimidating or downright confusing if you’re new to comics. Luckily, I’ve put together the Justice League Vs. Suicide Squad Reading Order Checklist which takes the confusion so you can get down to reading. In it, I list not only the recommended reading order but also the tie-ins involved, creators and release dates.

Do I Need To Read The Tie-Ins?

I’m going to say no. If you just read Justice League Vs. Suicide Squad #1-6 you will get a complete story from start to finish. If you’re looking to read stories which are off to the side of the main storyline check out the tie-ins that interest you.

This is the brand new secondary Justice League comic in which Batman has formed a new Justice League team, with a very different line-up. The series begins in February with Justice League of America: Rebirth and continues with Justice League of America #1.

Suicide Squad #11

Suicide Squad #11 is the start of a brand new story called”Burning Down The House”, which picks up from threads in Justice League Vs. Suicide Squad. Suicide Squad #11 is available in February.
